Mathematics: Learning the Universal Language of Logic

Welcome to the mathematics department at Global Leadership Academy, where numbers and equations open doors to a universe of possibilities! Our math courses are designed to turn abstract concepts into real-world problem-solving tools.

From the foundational principles of Geometry to the complex equations of Algebra I and II, we guide you through the language of the universe. Sharpen your analytical skills in Pre-calculus, and explore the world of data in AP Statistics. Each course is a step on your journey to mathematical mastery.

Whether you’re plotting graphs or calculating probabilities, our classes prepare you for a future where math is a critical key to success.

Haan
What do students learn in your class?
"In my classes, students learn the concepts of high school math (Algebra, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and Probability and Statistics). More important than the math is the ability to think, reason and communicate that thinking and reasoning to others."
What do students learn in your class?
"Students learn about basic geometric shapes, properties of geometric figures, geometric proofs, transformations: such as translations, reflections, rotations, and dilations, and trigonometry."

What do students learn in your class?
"Students learn to problem solve and communicate their thinking in math. Algebra students learn about linear, exponential and quadratic functions and how they compare. AP Statistics students learn about quantitative and categorical data, probability, and inference methods. They prepare all year for the AP Exam in May."
