Get involved at GLA!
We are excited to welcome families back into the building to participate in field trips, opportunities to volunteer in the classrooms, and to join our parent group, Partners in Education. In order to participate in these volunteer opportunities, interested parents must complete the Volunteer Application and submit a copy of a current valid license or identification. Partners in Action events on the Broadway/GIA Campus include:
- Welcome Back Kick-Off
- Fall Carnival
- Trunk-or-Treat
- Concession sales at middle school sporting events
- Parent-Teacher Conference
- Thanksgiving Basket Drive
- El día de los niños Celebration
- Cinco de Mayo Celebration
- 8th Grade End of Year BBQ
If you want to join, email Myda Hernandez (hernandezmy@mapleton.us). An application process with background check will be required to participate in the parent group.
